Bristol Buddhist Studies actively welcomes postdoctoral researchers interested in pursuing innovative projects across a range of fields within Buddhist Studies and Asian Religions. We encourage scholars to approach us with proposals for applications to major postdoctoral fellowship schemes, including the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship, Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Postdoctoral Fellowships, and the Newton International Fellowships.
In addition to postdoctoral opportunities, we invite expressions of interest from scholars at various stages of their careers globally who wish to join us as Visiting Scholars. While we do not currently have provisions for these roles, we are delighted to assist potential visitors in applying for relevant bursaries or funding through external schemes. We are committed to supporting scholars in securing the resources they need to join our dynamic research community and contribute to ongoing conversations within Buddhist and Asian religious studies.
